The gym is HIP Tour players!

At the end of the PGA Was fantastic at this last weekend!  In fact, it seems to me, that is, all anyone is talking about golf in the world.  Only google-PGA Championships 2010 "and to look for the words Kaymer, Watson, Johnson, distance driver controversy, nerves, young guns and Ryder Cup … most likely to be the same kind of golf article. What should (I) if the fitness centre coach I have not been investigated, appropriately security cleared and point out a few little known about these talented" young guns? "Gerry "Bubba" Watson: we are not able to be one of the top 5 finishers oldest to learn.  Bubba does not swing by coach, but he is a personal trainer!  Not that back?  Bubba a few years ago, said, he would never workout out for golf, does not see the purpose and Yoga was ran out of the way.  Now 31 years old, he is a regular PGA trainer, Andrew Fisher.  He has dropped almost 30 lbs and feel better than ever.  6 ' 3 "And a little less than 180 lbs Bubba has worked his blood sugar more sensible eating plan as his early years to the control.  Bubba's temperament has previously taken part as agent or hot and cold.  It be that his focus on healthy lifestyle helped him "remember that currently" last weekend? Dustin Johnson:  If he did not have a professional golfer, he would Basketball player!  This guy go (38-inch vertical and 10 ft wide jumping)!   He is incredible athletic opportunities.   Lean golf and 190 lbs of muscle 26 years old, if they consider this, we can be produced much more of his. Dustin played not only Sea-University of North Carolina at, but he is still there with Coach Allen Terrell.  She helped even more, the recently renovated training facility as "thank you" to support him pay.  His workouts are a lot of power, which satisfies the routines päänheiluttamisesta medicine balls and much balance walls and stability based on exercises.  6 ' 4 "height is easy to him back to his heels rock and lose positions, so practicing swinging uneven surfaces (plates and foam roller) is useful.Martin Kaymer: 6 Ft 26-year-old resident of Germany recognises the Helsinki and his game all year round, Whisper Rock is definitely helped him to the world's Top 10 move on to the practical possibility.  His stellar performance had raw talent, durability and the ability to calm his nerves.  He stops at the top of the camera when clicked his swing was great.  He is not without injury.  Kaymer still suffers from his left foot pain with three broken toes go cart in an accident last year.  Hmmmm …. Walking 4 days straight and posting of the 200 + times per tournament left foot?  Rehabilitation, the finest is.Rory McIlroy:  Wouldn't you think that the PGA Championships and is one of the leading the youngest player even should the old physical disorders or problems.  But 21 years of age; Rory has begun "preventive" fitness on the road with his South African physiotherapist, Cornel Driessen (which is also Ross McGowa and Louis Oosthuizen).  Teenager, because Rory was assessment showing that his movement and explosive strength was sufficient, but there is a need for more focused nuclear and olkanivelten work.  He remains a true pre-round engine warm-up cycles, as a matter of routine, too.  Irish meat and potatoes growing on some extra weight predisposed him.  Fitness Centre with his new system, in which he lost recently about 15 lbs and try to fish, lean meat, fruits and veggies.Zach Johnson:  Zach is the role model is ageing and a gym. 35 year old has worked with a personal trainer, gradually, Chris Noss (that also functions as Stewart Cink, Camilo Villegas and Brian Gay).  Zach's golf fitness centre approach includes compound (total body) transfers if the feet are turned on.  Combined with cardio weighted at different levels of that period of exercises to help him in his time all his rounds maintained.  Many golfers and instructors follow the same method tietoliikenneprotokollat functional, dynamic movements vs. isolation for certain muscles "Show".   , What is my point?  Golf swing does not pass your biceps are size. Golf swing is a very high emitting an asymmetrical passing beam, unnatural, hard move to the body.  PGA players and Association of amateurs, for their similar fitness centre and wellness programs should be managed, injury prevention and longevity game in mind.  When fundamental movements are learned and remedial exercises are implemented, and then click Advanced sport-specific transfers may be adopted.  Always see the instructor certified golf fitness centre before you try to all your exercises you can see on the television or photos. Mindi Boysen owns "Fit For Golf! Choosing Golf Equipment

Buying golf equipment can be like dumping money into a

money pit, but armed with some knowledge you can save

time and money in selecting the right clubs for

yourself. As with most things in life, you can spend a

lot or you can spend a little several times before you

get what you really need.

If you are first starting out and not completely sure

you want to commit to this addictive game, you should

either rent clubs at the golf course, or buy a starter

set of clubs.

Buying a set of started clubs enables you to become

accustomed to them; enabling you to concentrate on

your swing instead of wondering how this set of

miss-matched clubs you just rented are going to work

out.

As you become better at the game, you should invest in

a better set of clubs, fitted to you.

Generally, a set includes a driver, one or two fairway

woods, 4-9 irons, a wedge or two and perhaps a putter.

As you become more experienced and start thinking

about new clubs, you may want to consider buying your

driver separately. Some players want a driver to give

them more accuracy; some need the distance.

There are numerous balls available and the box will

usually have a chart on the back and direct you to the

right ball for your needs. As you learn the game and

get better at it, you should experiment with different

balls which could improve your accuracy or distance.

Having the right equipment is an important aspect of

USA wins the Orange County National Ryder Cup Event

Last Friday, September 10th, was the much anticipated Orange County National Ryder Cup Event. This event pitted 16 US players vs 16 UK Soldiers from 1st Bn Coldstream Guards, who just came back from Afghanistan and were down in Orlando for a week of “adventure training.”

Below are the tournaments combatants.

The format was two-man better ball match play with 100% handicaps, playing off the lowest handi in the group. Three points are awarded per foursome, one point for the front nine, one point for the back nine and one point for the overall outcome.

I played in a foursome with fellow golf blogger John Duval (+2), writer of intothegrain.com and two really cool dudes, John(10) and Lee(10).

From the Left, Lee, OGB, John, JFD

In our foursome, we won the front nine, halved the back nine and got the overall, contributing 2.5 points.

Team USA, showed up in stereo-typical boisterous national pride sporting the LoudMouth Golf Stars & Stripes shorts and swept the field with a final score of 18.5 to 5.5 points.

In the UK teams defense, however, they haven’t had a whole lot of time to work on their golf game, fighting for freedom and all that..

The greatest shot of the day came from “the Major.” His approach shot went through the tree on it’s way to the green and after searching for his ball for a couple minutes, the foursome realized that the ball never came out of the tree. It had become tangled in some spanish moss and “the Major” showed us his super secret fairway wood chop technique.

The festivities concluded with lunch and quite a few rounds of beer in the clubhouse. By “quite a few,” I mean they probably sold more Guinness on that day than they had the entire year leading up to it.

Every last one of them were stand up guys who have my total respect for the sacrifice they make for their country. It was a great event and thanks to everyone who took my advice and participated!

4 Steps to a better swing Golf

When you think of achieving a better swing Golf, what comes to your mind? Is that you taking golf lessons more? Why buy another training help? What hitting golf balls more? Has worked for you yet?

What that phrase?"If you keep doing what you are doing, you want to continue to receive what you get". What is the right :???: I think is.?

What you need (IMHO) goes back to the basics to see if something is beyond whack.Lo I mean the basics is its foundations. You should always go back to basics when your game is going South.

Recently was shocked to learn of my fist was incorrect. My address with my clubface position was wrong (opened). And had no inclination of the spinal column.I can say to you... before I found that was out practicing 2-3 hours a day (I'm kidding, not )... and therefore not seeing a little give improvement... learn from me if you have que.Se was getting my fist derecho.Mi address and inclination corrected and presto... I was hitting golf great shots without spending my life in absolute frustrationg range.

So here is my simple Steps To A Better Golf Swing

Proper grip

Make sure that for most of you, have a slightly stronger grip, what facilitates square the clubface at impacto.También, place your right hand more on top and not to the side. It's a more natural position for your hand to lay in the club.

Position of golf course management

Make sure that your clubface is perfectly square, opposite the goal. Here is what should appear, from an aerial view (see below).

Square Clubface

Inclination of the spine

Be sure to have a slight inclination "far" from the target with the spine of the upper part of the body.It didn't have any inclination and therefore actually never got behind of the ball in my inclination of spine backswing.La added did pass the instante.Con longer clubs and the driver, his inclination will be a little more.

Ball position

This is a controversial topic, but must be the placement in the address directly in line with their left in his shirt Golf; logo golf ball, or even his left arm or deliberately is essential! my ball position was too behind creating a steep blow up ball; or to me, that arrives in impact and flip through:twisted:

We deliver work on these foundations and measures for a better golf swing, and I am sure that will improve quickly.

Is It A Fundamental Flaw or Physical Limitation?

Written by Mindi Boysen, TPI CGFI Is It A Fundamental Flaw or Physical Limitation?

Swing Fault:  Chicken Wing or Flying Elbow

Description:   A flying elbow occurs in the backswing when the elbow lifts too high instead of properly rotating from the shoulder and allowing the forearm to align in a more parallel fashion with the angle of the spine.  A chicken wing occurs when there is a loss of extension or breakdown of the lead elbow through the impact area throughout the follow through.

Test For Physical Limitation:   90/90 Test for Shoulder Mobility/Scapular Stability     Stand tall and position your arm out to the side 90 degrees from your body and 90 degree bend at the elbow.  It is important for your body to stay perfectly still.  Now externally rotate your shoulder (open hand to the sky) as far as you can.  You should be able to rotate your shoulder at least another 90 degrees or past perpendicular to the floor.  If you can’t, this may be one of the causes or factors leading to your chicken wing or flying elbow.

Corrective Exercise:  It is very important to stretch the pectorals (chest muscles).  With age and daily activities, the pectorals and front of the shoulders get tight and lead to both poor posture and loss of posture in the golf swing.   There are MANY exercises you can do to help prevent this, but a simple one is to simply “walk through a doorway” and get stuck.  Place your hands and forearms on the sides of a doorway and as you “walk” your body through, your shoulders will be forced to externally rotate and open up chest muscles.

How are those New Year’s Resolutions holding up?

Hey Tees2Greeners!

How are those New Year’s Resolutions holding up?  You know what this week is, don’t you?  This is the week (actually today, January 21st) that most resolutions are either made official or our gone for good.  What am I talking about?  Research has shown that it takes 21 days to MAKE a habit and 21 days to BREAK a habit.  Once you get over the 3-week mark, you should be home-free!

A few of my golfing clients “gave up” their alcoholic beverages at the 19th hole.  Some have made it and don’t miss the after-round drink a bit…some, on the other hand, have succumbed to the pressure and have rationalized how STUPID  and unattainable that really was for them.  Why shouldn’t they have a drink?  They’ve worked hard for years, retired, and now they DESERVE a drink after every round!  Hmmmm….sound familiar?

Deprivation of a reasonable, legal substance could be a little harsh.  That is why resolutions should be made more for moderation.  I would love to hear what YOUR resolutions are for the new year….especially the ones dealing with golf fitness  and nutrition!  So, write to me…let’s hear them!

What are mine you ask?  Well…….as a golf fitness professional, I try to lead by example.  I have my vices (alcohol, sweets, chocolate, lazy weekend TV, staying up too late), but I try to stay as balanced as I can.

Oh…..my GOLF resolutions?  They are right on schedule!  I make sure I warm up before EVERY round…in fact, I even stretch while still in bed.  I also make sure I keep at least two protein/energy bars in my bag along with nuts and electrolyte mix.  I WILL NOT EVER get a cart, unless walking is prohibited on a course I play.  Oh, and the most important one…….my goal is to maintain a single digit handicap before the end of 2010.  I realize I must keep up with a lesson once a month from my favorite LPGA Golf Instructor so that I don’t have time to “make up” new things in my swing.  I have a tendency to do that.  Being the perfectionist that I am, I tend to overdo and over-correct everything my teachers instruct me to do.  So, I need a little refresher every now and then.

So, there you have it…a little perspective into my resolutions.  The point is, don’t be too hard on yourself.  If you slip, not all is ruined.  Just find your chi, your center, your balance and try to stay there as often as you can.

What is YOUR resolution….and how’s it working for you?
